Monthly Ballona Wetlands


Ballona Wetlands Self-Guided Walk
Daily. Stroll along a path to view wildlife, including egrets and herons; west side of Lincoln Blvd., south of Jefferson Blvd.

Ballona Wetlands Freshwater Marsh Interpretive Nature Tour
2nd and 4th Saturdays. Tour freshwater marsh and see birds and native plants. 10am to 11am.

Ballona Wetlands Salt Marsh and Dunes Interpretive Nature Tour
2nd Sunday. Explore nature's wonders on a wetlands salt marsh and dunes guided tour; 1pm to 3pm. Park at Gordon's Market, 303 Culver Blvd., Playa del Rey.

Ballona Dunes Restoration Parties
4th Saturday. Help restore L.A. County's last coastal wetland by planting native plants and removing invasive ones, while learning about wetland ecology. 9:30am to 12 noon. Park at Gordon's Market, 303 Culver Blvd., Playa del Rey.
