From LAX

Transportation | Marina del Rey

Marina del Rey is incredibly accessible by any mode of transportation you choose. Next door to LAX and linked by shuttle to all outlying airports (Burbank, Long Beach, etc), the Marina is an air traveler's dream destination. For private aircraft, Santa Monica Airport is only three miles away.

With its compact area and easy layout, travelling around Marina del Rey is a breeze.

By car, Marina del Rey is easily accessible from all major area freeways. Visitors arriving by train have the privilege of stopping at Union Station, a half-hour away in downtown L.A., one of the last grand passenger stations in the country. The main bus terminal is nearby. And, of course, you can always arrive by boat.

Business travelers enjoy Marina del Rey's perfect L.A. Westside location four miles north of LAX, with easy access to Santa Monica, Century City, Culver City, and Beverly Hills.

Bike and skate rentals are plentiful in Marina del Rey, which lies midway along a popular 22-mile coastal bicycle path. Pack a picnic, grab a friend, and roll your way through the harbor north to Venice Beach and Santa Monica. What a great way to spend a day in LA!
